Ange Postecoglou is under immense pressure at Tottenham following a recent run of poor results
Tottenham Hotspur dropped more points at the weekend as they lost 4-3 to Chelsea at home in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites let a two-goal lead slip in another disastrous showing, with players making stupid decisions on and off the ball against bitter London rivals Chelsea. The way Spurs play under Ange Postecoglou are more enjoyable to watch for a neutral, but it is not a good sign for the die-hard fans.
More than a year into Ange Postecoglou’s time at White Hart Lane, there’s still no significant sign of improvement. The North London outfit want to end their long trophy drought, which the Greek-Australian tactician has suggested he is desperate to do in his second season. However, owing to injury problems and a lack of consistency, it looks difficult to happen.

Big Ange has managed just one win in the last seven games.
Speaking on the Rest Is Football podcast, Alan Shearer offered his insight on Spurs’ situation under Big Ange. The ex-Premier League winner has spotted some worrying signs of late, stating it is now an incredibly long and difficult road back for the 59-year-old at the club.
“I was at the game on Thursday when they played Bournemouth and they were awful,” Alan Shearer said to host Gary Lineker on the Rest is Football podcast.
“You could chuck at them they didn’t look bothered on Thursday, particularly first half. There was a slight improvement in the second half but that was really worrying from a Tottenham point of view.
“Ange went over to confront the fans because they were booed off, and rightly so as they were that bad, and that for me I thought oooh problems.
“You know when you look at players and their body language, Thursday it was rotten. They were awful. Yesterday they were better but it’s not a great sign.”

Since then, they have not won and dropped crucial points against Fulham and Chelsea in the Premier League.
