It was another successful night for Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League as they secured a 1-0 win against Girona.
Mohamed Salah scored the solitary goal of the game from the penalty spot in the second half to give his side all three points, with the Reds now winning each of their six games in the competition under Arne Slot.
With 18 points to their name so far, Liverpool are the only unbeaten side left in the competition and have already secured a place in the Round of 16 with two games to spare.
Salah was once again on the scoresheet and in doing so, he made further history for Liverpool.

Starting in attack alongside Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, Salah enjoyed another lively outing away from home as the Reds came away with all three points despite not being at their best.
Girona, for their part, gave Liverpool a run for their money as they pressed high up the pitch and had a lot of shots at goal, although Alisson Becker was equal to the task on his return to the game.
The Reds got their breakthrough in the second half through Salah, who sent Paulo Gazzaniga the wrong way from the penalty spot after Luis Diaz was fouled by Donny van de Beek.
And in doing so, Salah brought up his 50th UEFA Champions League goal of his career (excluding qualifiers) as he entered the top ten highest scorers in the competition.

With his second-half penalty – which was his sixth in the UCL for Liverpool – he also drew level with Steven Gerrard’s tally from the spot (6).
And finally, Salah also became the first Liverpool player in history to secure 50 goals in Europe as he continues to write his name into the record books at Anfield.
Salah’s stats this season
Girona manager Michel said he had a plan on how to stop Salah before the game, but the Egyptian continued his fine run of form this season to put the Spanish side to the sword in front of their own fans.
