Liverpool continued their perfect run in the UEFA Champions League as they secured a 1-0 win against Girona away from home.
Mohamed Salah endured a record-breaking night for the Reds as he scored from the penalty spot in the second half to give his side all three points.
The Egyptian became the first Liverpool player in history to score 30 goals in European competitions as he also entered the top ten highest scorers in UEFA Champions League history.
However, another Liverpool player was named Man of the Match in what was an entertaining game of football in Spain.

In a game that saw Alisson Becker return to the starting XI after three months, Andy Robertson started at left back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk completing the rest of the backline.
The industrious Scot was in the thick of the action and managed to come away with a clean sheet as he showed his class on both ends of the pitch.
Robertson was solid defensively and ventured forward whenever the opportunity arose as he got a shot on target that was saved by Paulo Gazzaniga in the second half.
He was named Man of the Match for his performance and while posing with the award, some of his Liverpool teammates appeared to take the mickey out of him, as seen below in the video.

Robertson’s stats vs Girona
Earlier this season, Robertson admitted he has enjoyed working with Arne Slot after the Dutchman replaced Jurgen Klopp at the helm.
With Kostas Tsimikas out for the foreseeable future, he is set to play most of the important games for Liverpool during the run-in as they don’t have another out-and-out senior left back in the squad.
The Scot endured a fine outing away from home and will look to carry on in the same vein when Fulham visit Anfield on Sunday.
