FC Barcelona are looking to try to bring in one of Spain’s promising young stars. Both them and Real Madrid are interested in Antonio José Cordero Campillo, alias Antoñito, who plays a winger for Málaga CF.
According to the rumor mill, Barcelona would be willing to pay two million euro, including bonuses, for him in the winter transfer window.
Barcelona previously had offered 1.8 million plus bonuses that could potentially reach 4 million. That was a better offer, but Barça have more leverage now to offer a bit less as Antoñito’s contract is due to run out at the end of the season.
Málaga seem to prefer to sell him now and get something rather than let him leave for free. It’s understood the player is seeking greener pastures so a move is inevitable.
If signed, he would play for Barcelona Atlètic, at least at first.
