The Philadelphia Eagles have a tough one this week. The Pittsburgh Steelers are the opponent. Like our Birds, Mike Tomlin's squad already boasts double-digit wins and a stout defense.
Just a tad under two weeks ago, the City of Brotherly Love was on fire because Philly dismantled another of the AFC North's best teams. Beating the Baltimore Ravens, however, won't help the Eagles win this game.
Something has to give. Tomlin is 0-3 vs. the Birds on the road during his tenure as Steelers head coach. Philadelphia has yet to beat Russell Wilson. They are 0-6 vs. him including a loss during a Wild Card game in January of 2020.
[ESPN Steelers insider Brooke Pryor reports](https://x.com/bepryor/status/1866529861269065845) Mike Tomlin said Pittsburgh's star wide receiver is "doubtful" vs. Eagles but there is a small chance he could play. An MRI revealed his hamstring injury might be more significant than initially believed.
It seems likely that Pickens will miss the coming game. He currently is among the NFL's most targeted receivers in the NFL.
Monday was a great night. The Dallas Cowboys lost, and our guy Jason Kelce eloquently referred to Dallas as the butthole and armpit of America. He made colleagues nervous but survived. A day later, he's been cleared of any legal wrongdoing related to an incident that made everyone uncomfortable.
[Several outlets including The Athletic and The New York Times](https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5984466/2024/12/10/jason-kelce-phone-investigation-closed/) report a police spokesperson says Penn State University Police and Public Safety have closed their investigation involving the former Eagle.
In early November, he was captured on camera slamming a fan's phone to the ground after an appearance on ESPN's _College GameDay._ The fan insulted his brother Travis Kelce by using a homophobic slur.
He has since apologized publicly, but now, he can put this behind him. Per the spokesperson, “The individual in the video footage circulating on social media has not been identified, and no one has come forward to University Police with a related complaint about damage to personal property."
