The Telegraph (h/tDiario AS) has investigated further the reasons why Manchester United remains open to selling Marcus Rashford. At Old Trafford, there are doubts about the striker’s lifestyle, and they believe he is no longer as focused on football as he once was.

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg recently reported that the Red Devils are considering selling Rashford, potentially as soon as the winter transfer window, with a final decision expected by the summer.

While the club acknowledges his progress under Amorim, they don’t see him as untouchable. A key factor in this decision is his high salary. Allowing Rashford to leave would help ease Financial Fair Play restrictions, giving Manchester United more flexibility in the transfer market.

Rashford is under contract until 2028 andTransfermarkt puts his value at €60 million. The 27-year-old has scored seven goals and recorded three assists in 23 matches across all competitions.
