Despite winning their ninth straight game of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles somehow managed to find themselves mired in drama surrounding two of their biggest stars. After the 22-16 victory over the Panthers, the Eagles didn't find themselves in the most pleasant of locker room atmospheres.
Star wide receiver AJ Brown seemingly called Jalen Hurts out after the game when asked about what was wrong with the offense. Brown replied, "Passing", adding that he wasn't happy with how the offense was looking.
This started speculations about brewing beef between Hurts and his favorite receiver. The locker room rift was later confirmed by Eagles veteran Brandon Graham. During a radio hit on 94WIP, the legendary Eagles defender made a shocking revelation. Graham said that Hurts and Brown "were friends, but things have changed" because "life happens".
“I know 1 is trying and 11 could be better with how he responds to things. They were friends, but things have changed.”

Graham admitted that he didn't know all the details about the situation but said that Hurts was trying. The veteran defender said that Brown should have handled things better and that players can't allow personal things to negatively impact the team as a whole.
The Eagles struggled in the passing game on Sunday, to be sure. They had 83 passing yards for the game, and Brown finished with four catches and 43 yards.
The Pro Bowl receiver is already having a frustrating season, having missed games for the first time in his Eagles career. Through ten games of the season, Brown has 836 yards and four touchdowns. Even though that is essentially in line with his averages from last season, Brown has seemingly grown frustrated with Hurts.
Whether there is something more to this story is still unknown but the quarterback and the star wide receiver beefing heading into the playoffs is not a good sign for any team. Especially for a team like the Eagles that struggled with chemistry issues last year, this is a concerning development.
