The Seattle Seahawks have released punter Ty Zentner from the practice squad, per the Tuesday transaction wire.
Zentner was signed last week due to the uncertainty surrounding the health of Michael Dickson, whose status for the Arizona Cardinals game was in some doubt due to back spasms in the win over the New York Jets.
With Dickson listed as questionable, Zentner was elevated to the gameday roster but was later declared inactive. At least he collects a game check for a week.
There were no other transactions, so the Seahawks will head into Wednesday’s practice for the New York Jets game with a vacancy on the practice squad.
