Given the level of coaching continuity and the fact that they're positioned to make a run at a third consecutive Super Bowl victory, it makes sense that the Kansas City Chiefs might need to brace for a fairly significant amount of losses in terms of personnel and coaching staff members.
The bleeding might have already started, in fact, with the news that one of their own assistant coaches has already been hired away with one month left in the regular season.
The University of Nebraska will reportedly name Terry Bradden as their new defensive line coach, a fresh hire for Matt Rhule's staff for the Cornhuskers. Bradden has spent most of the last decade as a member of the Chiefs coaching staff.

As Pete Thamel noted above when breaking the news, Bradden is the Chiefs' assistant defensive line coach, working under Joe Cullen as a part of Steve Spagnuolo's defensive staff. Considering that Cullen just signed an extension last year, it makes sense that Bradden might seek to step outside of the organization to make a leap forward if he sense a lack of opportunities ahead in the present coaching tree.
Bradden replaces Terrance Knighton as Nebraska's d-line coach, who left for the same post at Florida State for the 2025 campaign. Bradden was a grad assistant at Bethune-Cookman before joining the Chiefs in 2017.
