It took a long time for the Green Bay Packers to settle on Brandon McManus as their kicker in the post-Mason Crosby Era. As fans recall all too well, Green Bay made the decision to get younger following the 2022 NFL season. Of course, this meant that Aaron Rodgers‘ time as the Packers starting quarterback came to an end and he was traded to the New York Jets.
While Rodgers was the most high-profile player that left the organization following the 2022 season, there were other noteworthy players that bid adieu to the Packers as well. Marcedes Lewis, Robert Tonyan, and Randall Cobb all found themselves playing for other teams in 2023.
It also spelled the end of Crosby’s long tenure in Green Bay.

Crosby was selected by the Packers in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft and remained their kicker for 16 seasons. During that time, he became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer and helped Green Bay win Super Bowl XLV.
Despite his solid final season in Green Bay, the Packers dedicated themselves to their youth movement and selected Anders Carlson in sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft to replace Crosby.
Carlson, as Packers fans know all too well, did not pan out in Green Bay. He made 81.8% of his field goals and a woeful 87.5% of his extra point attempts while leading the NFL in missed kicks.
Carlson did not make the 53-man roster in 2024 and has played for the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets this season.
Instead of Carlson, Green Bay decided to claim Brayden Narveson off of waivers from the Tennessee Titans to be their kicker this season. Unfortunately, he did not work out either. While Carlson got the whole 2023 season to try and figure it out, Green Bay was not so patient with Narveson. He was released in favor of McManus after six games (he made just 12 of 17 field goals in that time frame).
Former Green Bay Packers Kicker Brayden Narveson Has Re-Signed with the Tennessee Titans

Green Bay Packers place kicker Brayden Narveson (44) reacts after missing a second half field goal against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. The Packers defeated the Cardinals 34-13.
While Narveson has had tryouts with other NFL teams, he has not been signed by any of them. That is, until Tuesday.
The former Packers kicker is returning to the team that originally signed him following the 2024 NFL Draft, the Titans:

As Mike Garafolo notes, Titans kicker Nick Folk is injured and the team does not know who will kick for them on Sunday when they face the Cincinnati Bengals.
It is very possible that Narveson, who made five of six field goals for Tennessee during the preseason, could get the call.
