How to vote for Sacramento Kings players for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game

The 2024-25 NBA Season hasn't been great for the Sacramento Kings (yet). They are 11-13 and are currently sitting at 12th in the Western Conference. Still, the Kings have some great players on their roster. Players that deserve votes for the 2025 All-Star game (which is on Sunday, February 16).

Last year, despite having two All-Star caliber players, the Kings had no one representing them in the league's unofficial midseason classic. How do we change that this year? Here is everything you need to know.

How to vote for the 2025 All-Star Game

For those who are unaware, there are two types of All-Stars selected for the All-Star game: starters and bench players. Fans can only vote for starters. Meanwhile, bench players are chosen solely by coaches.

Fans can vote for starters through either the NBA app or, for those who don't like/don't have the app, the NBA.com website. It is important that fans exercise their right to vote because the fan vote accounts for 50% of the equation. The other portion is decided by the media (25%) and coaches (25%).

Sacramento Kings players who could be All-Stars

In theory, any player could be an All-Star if they get enough of the NBA fanbase behind them. For instance, Zaza Pachulia, a career role player, received over 400,000 votes for the 2017 NBA All-Star game. Nowadays, though, it is less likely that a fan favorite can get pushed into the event through the sheer willpower of the fans, as the media and coaches have a say in who gets a start and who does not.

Realistically speaking, the Kings have three players with chances at making the All-Star game: DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis, and De'Aaron Fox.

Of those three, Sabonis and Fox have the best chance. As it stands, Sabonis is 12th in the entire NBA in Estimated Plus-Minus (per Dunks & Threes). EPM is considered by many to be the best publicly available one-number metric on the market.

Meanwhile, Fox's box score numbers (26.4 PPG/6.0 APG/5.0 RPG) and efficiency (58.3% true shooting) are in line with the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – three players who will almost definitely be All-Stars this season (barring any injuries).

Now, box score statistics aren't everything, but given the company Fox is in, he does have a strong case of deserving your vote. So, go out and give him and Sabonis (and DeRozan) some love this voting season.
