Manchester United’s issues on the field so far this season has been manifold from a lack of tactical identity under Erik ten Hag, a sense of players not giving their fullest but one thing that has plagued them even into their time under Ruben Amorim is the inability to score goals.
The club’s strikers are not succeeding at doing the primary job they were signed for – making the back of the net bulge.

Man Utd’s most potent attacking weapon this season has been Amad Diallo and that doesn’t make for good reading.
Neither Rasmus Hojlund nor Joshua Zirkzee seem to have the predatory instincts one would expect from players at this level. Yes, they both have scored a few goals but they have been few and far and not necessarily consistent.
Thus, even without a sporting director at the helm, Man Utd might be keen on addressing this situation and could turn to Nigerian sensation Victor Osimhen. As per Spanish source, the Red Devils are willing to offer £49.4million (60 million euros) to sign the player.
The striker, who has fallen out of favor at Napoli and is currently on loan at Galatasaray has a release clause of around £61.8m (75 million euros) on his current contract with the Italian club.
However, considering the strained relationship between the player and the club, United would hope that they let him leave for less.
Osimhen brings a lot of quality to the table and most importantly, a know-how on how to score goals. Feed him the right kind of chances and more often than not, the African will ensure that the net bulges for his team.
It remains to be seen if Man Utd will make an offer and convince Victor Osimhen to continue his career at Old Trafford. It is a signing that the Red Devils desperately need to make and let’s wait and see how it plays out.
