Manchester United are reportedly "monitoring" Bayern Munich midfielder Konrad Laimer.
The Austrian midfielder, who scored in Bayern's Champions League win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday night, has attracted attention from the Premier League ahead of January's transfer window.
Florian Plettenburg has claimed United have been impressed with his performances in Germany but - as it stands - they are only currently admirers of the midfielder. No contact has yet been made about his availability.

Laimer, who has been compared to Chelsea hero N'Golo Kante by ex-United interim manager Ralf Rangnick, was linked with a move to Old Trafford earlier this season with Ruben Amorim reportedly urging the club to swoop. A new midfielder would spell the end of Casemiro's time in Manchester with Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo the long-term future in the middle of the park - discounting new signings.
Elsewhere, United are thought to be tracking Southampton talent Tyler Dibling. According to reports, United are one of many clubs keeping tabs on the teenager's performances with the Saints.
Caught Offside have claimed that Chelsea, who sold Dibling to Southampton, Newcastle, Tottenham, Aston Villa and West Ham have all been impressed. A price tag of £21million is said to be Southampton's valuation of Dibling, who can play on either wing or centrally.
This season, the England U21 international has been pretty much the only shining light for Russell Martin's men in what has been a difficult return to the Premier League. Should Southampton go down, he's almost guaranteed to depart next summer - but no would-be price tag for the prospect has been flagged up.
