Law firm Ellisons has relocated its Ipswich operations to new, larger premises at Connexions, marking a significant milestone in its 260th year.
The new premises at 159 Princes Street provide about 9,000 square feet of Grade A office space on the first floor, featuring 75 desks, a reception area, and on-site client parking.
The office includes multiple meeting rooms to accommodate a range of needs, from personal, private consultations to business-focused discussions.
Complete with balcony views of Ipswich Town FC’s stadium, the office has been designed to reflect modern working practices, offering a flexible and collaborative environment to support the firm’s continued growth.
Guy Longhurst, managing partner at Ellisons, said: "As a firm, we are proud of our long-standing commitment to Ipswich and the business community.
"The new office, in the very heart of Ipswich’s business district, provides an outstanding space for our growing team and ensures we are well-positioned to continue offering exceptional service to current and future clients whatever their legal needs.
"It’s an exciting time for Ellisons in Ipswich, and we look forward to continuing to grow our presence in the region."
Lorna Denton-Cardew, head of the Ipswich Office, added: "We’re thrilled to be able to bring our colleagues, who were previously located at Arcade Street and Wherstead Park, together under one roof.
"This move allows us to unite our teams, improving collaboration and creating a seamless experience for our clients.
"Ellisons has been part of the Ipswich community for over a decade, and we have seen significant growth during this time. The 2020 merger with Blocks Solicitors, which had served the area for more than a century, further strengthened our roots here and we’re now ready to embrace our next chapter."
Ellisons has offices in Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Colchester, Frinton, and Ipswich.
