One former West Ham player has now named what he believes to be the biggest problem at Chelsea right now, and it will come as no surprise.
Chelsea beat Tottenham 4-3 on Sunday to really push on in second place in the league ahead of Arsenal and on Liverpool’s tails. Nobody expected Chelsea to be where they are right now, not one single person. They are defying all the odds though, and things are going great so far this season.

But there is still one issue that to be honest, pretty much everyone has been mentioning lately, everyone except Enzo Maresca and Chelsea themselves, who continues to ignore the problem.
And that’s fine to ignore it when things are going well and Chelsea are winning games, but it would get pretty toxic again if they continued to ignore it if we started losing games again or not getting the results.
We are of course speaking about the supposed number one goalkeeper who continues to be protected by Maresca, Robert Sanchez, who is just not good enough, plain and simple.
Nolan calls Sanchez Chelsea’s biggest problem

Sanchez is a problem
Former West Ham player Kevin Nolan has been speaking about Chelsea this week.
He says:
“The biggest problem what I see with Chelsea at this moment in time, I think, you know, they’re obviously always trying to talk it down. I think the biggest problem is the goalkeeper. I think he was in a fault for the first goal [vs Tottenham].
“He makes really bad mistakes for them. And I think if they’re gonna go on and go on and go and be title contenders, then they need someone else. But the biggest thing at this moment in time is that they’re sort of going, we’re not title contenders.”
