'Very good': Craig Burley claims Chelsea player is producing performances he's not seen from him for ages

Chelsea’s five-game winning streak across all competitions is being driven by several of their players finding top form.

The Chelsea squad is extremely talented and super young this season, so supporters are enjoying watching things click into gear right now.

Enzo Maresca, the Blues manager, is steering the ship excellently since he took charge in the summer.

Interestingly, Chelsea is shocked by how hard Maresca works, both in and out of the office, to study his and opposition players. It certainly feels like the Blues hit the jackpot by appointing him and stealing him away from Leicester City.

Craig Burley impressed by Chelsea’s Jadon Sancho

ESPN pundit Craig Burley was full of praise for Chelsea’s Jadon Sancho after his most recent performance.

The 24-year-old attacker starred in the Blues’ 4-3 away win at Tottenham on Sunday. He delivered an eye-catching display both offensively and defensively from the left wing, which included his second goal of the season with a thunderous low effort from outside the penalty box.

Burley told ESPN: “Jadon Sancho, to me, looked like the player that when he was getting on the ball, he was beating his man. He was dropping the shoulder, he was beating his man, he was playing a one-two. It was him who scored the first goal. A cracking goal when he came inside. His general all-round play was very good. We haven’t seen that for long periods.”

Gabriel Agbonlahor hailed three Chelsea players by naming them in his Premier League Team of the Week, including Sancho for his display versus Spurs.
