Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, made a cheeky comparison between Jay Glazer and his former coach Bill Belichick during his appearance on FOX NFL Sunday. Brady was in the Los Angeles studio for the first time to cover the Buffalo Bills-Los Angeles Rams game at SoFi Stadium.

As Glazer finished his segment highlighting whether key players were "in or out" of the lineup for Sunday's contest, he turned his attention to Brady. "One more in and out," Glazer said.

"I gotta do everything around here.... Tom Brady, out. Let's go. You've \[got to be at\] the Rams-Bills game. You know 10 miles here in LA is like five hours of traffic. Get out! " Glazer then walked up to Brady and jokingly motioned to escort him off the set. Brady responded with humour, sharing a handshake with his fellow FOX staffer.

He later quote-tweeted a video of the encounter posted on X on Monday, writing: "Jay doing his best 'Bill Belichick after the 2019 season' impression."

This comment alludes to reports of a strained relationship between Brady and Belichick after the 2019 season, which may have contributed to Brady's move to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady couldn't help but make a light-hearted jab with his latest tweet, saying: "Kidding coach everyone knew I couldn't resist the Florida sunshine," in reference to his move to Tampa Bay's sunnier climes. The legendary quarterback and Belichick had a storied 20-year partnership at the New England Patriots before their split.

Brady went on to clinch another Super Bowl victory and deliver back-to-back seasons with over 40 touchdowns. His 2021 season with the Buccaneers was particularly impressive; at 44 years old, he threw for a personal best of 5,316 yards, leading the team to 13 victories.

Meanwhile, Belichick's Patriots struggled to replicate past successes, barely making it into the 2021 playoffs with rookie Mac Jones and then falling to one of the league's lowest ranks by 2023. On Sunday, Brady was quick to comment on an offensive showcase as the Rams narrowly defeated the Bills 44-42 in what was hailed as one of the season's most thrilling games.

Rams' quarterback Matthew Stafford shone brightly, completing 23 out of 30 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
