Jamie Carragher has jokingly responded to a video that suggested Thierry Henry is ‘in love’ with Kate Scott.
Carragher, 46, works alongside Scott (formerly Abdo), 43, and Henry, 47, as part of CBS Golazo's Champions League coverage.
The trio, who are regularly accompanied by Micah Richards, employ a more jovial, relaxed style of broadcast compared to the clean-cut, professional style of most British coverage.
The video in question was posted to 'The Screenrot Podcast's' X account on December 9. The show is hosted by comedians Jacob Hawley and Jake Farrell.
“Carragher would clearly love to have a shot with Abdo,” Hawley said when speaking with Farrell on 'The Screenrot Podcast.'
“He doesn’t. So almost like a medieval peasant, he bows to the will of the King – Henry.”
A screenshot from a CBS broadcast then popped up on the screen appearing to show Scott taking a sip from a green water bottle.
The pair continued to discuss Carragher and Henry's reaction toward Scott with Hawley saying: “What’s happened here is Carragher has appeared out of nowhere, and he’s at her elbow instantly.
“As soon as the camera moves, he’s got a lime green water bottle; nothing could be less subtle.
“Most people in that situation would pass it across the desk or bring it over and walk away.
“He’s in such a mode of service that he unscrews the top, gives her the bottle, then stands there like a waiter waiting for her to give him the bottle back.”
Next, attention was turned to Henry.

“Whilst Henry…” said Hawley
“Looks on,” replied Farrell
“Doesn’t just look on,” Hawley exclaimed.
A screenshot of Henry looking toward Scott was then the talking point. Of course, fans regularly joke about the Frenchman ‘being in love’ with the presenter.
“The eyes, man,” joked Farrell.
“I have never seen anyone look at anyone like that,” explained Hawley.
“I wished my wife looked at me like that,” added Farrell.
Hawley even compared Henry’s expression to looking like Jesus after he’d walked through the desert for 40 days “and finally found water”.
Surprisingly, Carragher commented on the video and clearly saw the funny side of the pair’s observations.
“Peasant & waiter,” the former Liverpool defender replied with three laughing emojis clearly finding their comments amusing.
