Professor Christine Holt CBE FMedSCi FRS, a Professor of Developmental Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge, opened the evening by sharing Professor Robert Hindges' research highlights and commending his ability to foster collaborations across research groups.
Professor Robert Hindges is a Professor of Developmental Neurobiology and Director of Operations at the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology. He heads the Neural Connectivity and Visual Function group, investigating the molecular and cellular mechanisms that control the establishment of neural circuits. Professor Hindges is a strong proponent of collaboration, education and public engagement.
Professor Oscar Marín FMedSci FRS, Professor of Neuroscience and Director of the Centre for Developmental Neurobiology and MRC Centre for Neurodevelopmental Disorders, delivered the Vote of Thanks and expressed gratitude to the attendees and Professor Hindges.
