Eagle-eyed Manchester United fans spotted Alejandro Garnacho sharing a teasing question with Al Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on social media.
Alejandro Garnacho has impressed at times in the current campaign and the Manchester United winger has scored eight times in 23 appearances.
The 20-year-old Spain-born attacker, who has four assists to his name, has managed 10 starts in 15 Premier League matches in the 2024-25 season.
Despite securing regular first-team minutes, Garnacho has faced criticism this season over his consistency in the final third amid United’s underwhelming campaign.
Garnacho has been regularly used under Ruben Amorim after the United manager replaced Erik ten Hag in the Old Trafford dugout.
The Argentina international has played in all five of Ruben Amorim’s United matches so far and Garnacho has scored once under the former Sporting CP boss.

Garnacho’s cryptic message to Ronaldo
Alejandro Garnacho caught Manchester United fans’ eye after resharing Cristiano Ronaldo’s Instagram Stories photo with a teasing question.
MORE UNITED STORIES
The Argentina winger is a huge admirer of the Manchester United and Portugal legend and has previously talked up the impact that Ronaldo has had on him.
Former United superstar Ronaldo has been with current side Al Nassr since 2023 after his exit from Old Trafford in 2022.
The 39-year-old Portuguese star fell out of favour with ex-United boss Erik ten Hag and he pulled no punches in his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan in 2022.

Ronaldo’s future unclear at Al Nassr
Ronaldo is out of contract with Al Nassr next summer and it remains unclear if the Portugal captain will sign a new deal with the Saudi Pro League outfit.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 74 times in 83 appearances for Al Nassr and Ronaldo has ruled out calling it time on his legendary career in the past.
Ronaldo has been keen to take his goalscoring tally across club and country to the 1,000 mark, but even the United legend is unsure if it will happen before he retires.
“I now face my life living in the moment. I can’t think long-term anymore,” he said, as per TNT Sports in November.
“I can no longer think about what I said publicly that I wanted to reach 1,000 goals. But it seems that everything is easy now, just last month I reached 900.
“It’s about living in the moment, enjoying the moment, seeing the response that my legs will give me in the next few years.
“One thousand goals is great, but if it doesn’t come, I’m already the player in history with the most goals.”
