The Green Bay Packers could be shorthanded in the WR room ahead of their Week 15 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks if Romeo Doubs isn’t cleared from concussion protocols. According to Jovan Alford of FanSided, the team should consider adding KJ Osborn to their ranks if that’s the case.

“For the Packers to make a deep run in the postseason, they need someone in their receiver room to step up. Luckily for Green Bay, a veteran wideout is now available, who could help them immediately,” Alford wrote.
“The 27-year-old Osborn struggled to see the field this season with the Patriots, only playing in seven games. Osborn’s lack of production shouldn’t deter the Packers from taking a look at him. In his last season with the Vikings, Osborn had 48 receptions (75 targets) for 540 yards and three touchdowns,” he added.

KJ Osborn is already familiar with Green Bay given his past battles with the team in the NFC North, as he was with the Minnesota Vikings at the start of his NFL career. The 27-year-old wideout signed with the New England Patriots this season but was waived on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
Does KJ Osborn fit in with the Green Bay Packers?
The Green Bay Packers WR unit has taken a step back over the last few weeks, and they’ll need more production to make some noise in the postseason.

The perfect example of their inconsistent production Is when one of their top receivers, Jayden Reed, only had one target in 25 snaps during their Week 14 loss against the Detroit Lions.
KJ Osborn could come and play either as a WR2 or WR3, which he has done so far in his career. The former Miami Hurricanes star has 165 career receptions for 1,902 yards and 16 touchdowns in 66 regular season games (34 starts).
