Liverpool and England defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is being tipped to snub Real Madrid and stay at Anfield if Arne Slot’s Reds win the Premier League.
LIVERPOOL have been doing alot of business over the last couple of transfer windows adding players to the side that will help get the club challenging for titles once again, but they are also keen to keep hold of some of their biggest players.
Alexander-Arnold has been criticized for many of his defensive displays during his time at the club , but that doesnt hide the fact that he is still one of the very best players in his position.
The England star has been the subject of much speculation amid rumours of a new contract at Anfield and interest from Real Madrid, but now former Liverpool star Glen Johnson has claimed that Alexander-Arnold will stay if the Reds win the Premier League this season.
Speaking to Betfred, former Liverpool defender Glen Johnson said: “If Liverpool win the Premier League, then I believe he will stay. I don’t think he wants to leave and I don’t think Liverpool want him to leave, but the longer this goes on, then the less likely that he will stay.
‘He’s going to be at Liverpool or Real Madrid next season. I don’t believe he’ll go anywhere else and I don’t believe any other club can compete with them two. If Liverpool win the league, then I think he’ll stay.”

There is so much speculation about the future of Alexander-Arnold and to be honest, he has not shown any real desire to show that he wants to stay, so if the right offer arrives he could leave.
He is able to hold talks about a move in the January, so LIVERPOOL only have a few week left to get this deal done.
