Brahim Diaz made an immediate impact in his start against Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Brahim was incredible under pressure, particularly in the first half. Atalanta pressed aggressively, and Brahim’s ability to escape pressure is often what broke the Italians’ defensive structure.

On the night, Brahim had the game-opening assist to Kylian Mbappe, four completed dribbles, two key passes, two tackles, and he worked hard defensively.

To be fair, Brahim did tire as the game wore on and his touches became less influential, and he should’ve done a better job of tracking Sead Kolasinac on Atalanta’s penalty. Nevertheless, Brahim was a very important player for Real Madrid in the first half especially.

We’ve compiled some of Brahim’s touches vs Atalanta below.
