The early team news ahead of Man Utd's clash with Viktoria Plzen in the Uefa Europa League.

Ruben Amorim’s side will be looking to bounce back from successive Premier League defeats when they make the journey to Czechia and took part in a pre-match training session at their Carrington training complex on Wednesday morning.

Collyer, 20, has been missing since he suffered an unspecified injury at the start of November and is yet to feature in a matchday squad under new head coach Ruben Amorim. He looks close to a return though and was part of the squad that took part in a light session in front of media in midweek.

The United midfielder has made three senior appearances for the side so far this season, featuring in the Community Shield penalty shootout defeat to Man City, as well as the 7-0 thrashing of Barnsley in the League Cup and the 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League.

Collyer was highly-rated by previous manager Erik ten Hag and interim Ruud van Nistelrooy, though it remains to be seen where he ranks in the pecking order under Amorim. He has already been linked with a possible loan exit in the January transfer window, though his high energy and work rate could make him a popular player under the new head coach.

Elsewhere, there was further good news as Victor Lindelof and Jonny Evans both also returned to training after recent setbacks. Evans featured in Amorim's first match away against Ipswich Town last month, while Lindelof has been missing since he suffered an injury during the November international break.
