Jason Cundy amazed by Cole Palmer’s dribbling

Jason Cundy has delivered a glowing verdict on Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer. In particular, he’s highlighted that the 22-year-old Blues attacker is an outstanding dribbler of the football.

When discussing Chelsea star Palmer, Cundy told talkSPORT: “There is no doubt about it, the boy is special. Even when he doesn’t have his greatest games, he still has an influence on the game.

“The way he chops and drops the shoulder. He’s a big lad, he’s a tall boy, he’s still so nimble. When he goes and drops, he manages to twist and turn. He’s got such control of the ball. He dips his shoulder and goes.”

Palmer’s incredible individual campaign continued at the weekend by scoring twice in Chelsea’s 4-3 league win away at Tottenham. In 15 league games this season, he’s now scored 11 goals and created six assists.

Jamie Carragher has compared Palmer to Chelsea great Eden Hazard for what he’s producing on the pitch. The left-footed technician definitely feels like the club’s best individual talent since Hazard left in 2019.
