**Arsenal**is now hit with yet another concern as one of their key defenders will be on the sidelines due to an injury. Myles Lewis-Skelly is the youngster who will most likely miss out on the game against Manchester United on 5th December.
The North London giants have faced frustrating injury concerns this season. These injuries have put the Gunners through a speed breaker in their Premier League title contention. There are many players who missed out on important games this campaign.
Arsenal’s defence is set to be trimmed as the young defender Myles Lewis-Skelly suffered an injury in the pre-training session. Myles missed out on the game against the Hammers as a precautionary measure.
Mikel Arteta on if Lewis-Skelly could get a chance in midfield: “That’s an option, he can play in three different positions — he can play as a holding, he can play as a left attacking midfielder, so yes, gaps for him.” pic.twitter.com/qwhzBQU5WD

The 18-year-old was on the bench against West Ham to rest and recover. Mikel Arteta confirmed that the issue with the young defender is serious according to dailycannon. So is the same situation with many others before their clash against Manchester United he said-
“We’ve had an issue with Gabi and Ricky. Yesterday we lost Mikel and Thomas as well which is sad news”.
The Gunners will have an evident gap before they face the Red Devils this week. There are many key players who are on the sidelines as North London club host Ruben Amorim’s men. Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu are the missing men who will severely affect Arsenal’s defence.
Arsenal and Manchester United both have major injury concerns ahead of this important clash. The Gunners will be in a much more comfortable spot than the Red Devils. Mikel Arteta’s men are in the second position in the Premier League table.
Manchester United with their very own problems
The Red Devils are travelling to Emirates Stadium with confidence but there are injury concerns for them too. There is a major doubt if Bruno Fernandes will be fit to participate against the Gunners in the Premier League.
Fernandes wore an ice pack around his ankle after Manchester United thrashed Everton. There was a sense of fresh form under Ruben Amorim as they defeated Everton 4-0. They will have a major issue if Bruno stays on the sidelines against Arsenal.
The Portuguese bagged two assists in the past match which led to 2 goals by Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee. If Bruno stays absent there will be an evident gap in the team’s attacking midfield plans.
The 30-year-old is not the only player from Ruben Amorim’s squad who is in doubt to miss out on Thursday. Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo will be suspended for one match as they received yellow cards in the last match.
How will Manchester United square off against Arsenal
The London Giants will clash against each other in one of the most anticipated games this season. These clubs will put up more than a fight to prove their dominance in the Premier League this campaign.
This season has been just average so far for the Red Devils under the management of Erik Ten Hag. There has been a new sense of playing style and form ever since Ruben Amorim’s arrival at Old Trafford.
Arsenal will go into this game with a different mindset as they will be hunting for the full three points. These points will be crucial as it will put them in contention with the table toppers Liverpool. They are 9 points behind the Reds and the 3 points will be very important for the North London giants.
This game will be slightly in favour of Arsenal as it is set at the Emirates Stadium. Manchester United will look to continue their good form to put up a challenge against Mikel Arteta’s men. The Red Devils do have the chance to break another win streak for Arsenal this season.
