Alisson Becker was supported by his wife as he returned to Liverpool’s starting line-up with a 1-0 win over Girona in the Champions League. The Brazilian made a string of important saves to deny the Spanish side as the Reds maintained their 100% record in this season’s competition.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has not featured for Liverpool since the start of October due to picking up a hamstring injury away at Crystal Palace. Irish back-up Caoimhin Kelleher has performed very well in Alisson’s absence but Arne Slot made clear who is first choice by immediately reinstating Alisson to the starting eleven.
After the starting eleven was announced yesterday evening, his wife Natlia sent her support. Natalia shared a picture of Alisson’s shirt in the away dressing room on her Instagram story, adding eight red love heart emojis.

After the match, Alisson tagged his wife in a picture on his story with the caption: “What a great feeling to be back after a long time! Hard work pays off.”
