Manchester United have been ramping up preparations for Thursday’s clash in Europe against Viktoria Plzen with one new face spotted.
After back-to-back defeats for Manchester United, winning on Thursday against Viktoria Plzen suddenly looks like a must-win fixture for Ruben Amorim.
Following the 3-2 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest, the reality has dropped that it will take time before Amorim turns United into the football machine we saw in Portugal.
Amorim asked fans for patience and he will get it, but winning against a side like Viktoria Plzen will be vital as he does not want to go three games without a win.
One positive which will be delighting Amorim right now though is that he is blessed with an almost full-strength squad. This includes the return of three names who have been missing in recent weeks.

Toby Collyer could be seen in the group furthest from the camera, making his first appearance in training – which we have seen – under Amorim.
Collyer has missed nearly two months due to injury, but will now be eager to return and impress the new head coach.
Also making their training returns were Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof who have missed the past few weeks through injury.

These returns will delight Amorim as he has the squad at its deepest possible state.
Ruben Amorim will rotate against Viktoria Plzen
Despite United needing a win, rotation will occur against Plzen due to the impending Manchester Derby against Manchester City.
Travelling to the Czech Republic will not be an easy evening for United, but Amorim has been committed to rotation and we expect more on Thursday.
If fit and ready, we would not be shocked to see Lindelof start, with Matthijs de Ligt and Leny Yoro likely in need of a slight rest.
Sunday will see Amorim take on his toughest opponent to date, with Pep Guardiola likely hoping to reignite his season against United. On the other hand, Amorim will also see it as a potential watershed game.
This means we will probably see the first-choice team against City, which could be an opportunity for several players against Plzen, perhaps even minutes for Collyer.
