The Dallas Cowboys would've had a realistic chance of making the playoffs had they beaten the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football. They were about to be in the driver's seat with two minutes left in the fourth quarter before Amani Oruwariye fumbled a blocked punt.
While Oruwariye is public enemy No. 1 in Dallas, all anyone cares about right now is DeMarvion Overshown, who went down with a gruesome injury after a Bengals offensive linemen collapsed into his right knee.
Overshown's leg bent awkwardly and teammates took a knee around him as he was tended to. He was ruled out almost immediately and it was reported after the game that he suffered damage to multiple knee ligaments - not just his ACL.
Jerry Jones has already confirmed that Overshown needs season-ending knee surgery and it's unlikely we see him until 2026, per Clarence Hill Jr. of DLLS.
It's hard to feel good about anything right now. However, Dak Prescott and his fianceé Sarah Jane Ramos cleansed the timeline ever so slightly. The happy couple has revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit that they'll be welcoming another baby girl to their family. The baby is due in May of 2025.

Prescott commented "Family of 4! I love you @sarahjane and our little girlies,” on SI Swimsuit's Instagram post.
The Overshown news casts a dark cloud over the franchise right now, but Prescott and Ramos, who got engaged in October, expecting another baby girl is something to feel good about. The couple welcomed their first child, baby MJ, into the world on February 22.
Ramos did not reveal the baby's first name, but she told SI Swimsuit that her middle name will be Rayne, which honors Prescott's birth name. Prescott's full name, for those who don't know, is Rayne Dakota Prescott.
Prescott has relished being a girl dad. He frequently posts pictures to Instagram of Ramos and baby MJ. Before Prescott's season-ending injury, he and Ramos could be seen after games playing with MJ on the field with Cowboys teammates and coaches.
Prescott's fatherhood and engagement have been wholesome storylines to follow off the field amid a brutal season. His season-ending injury was the culmination of an unforgiving 2024. Just when Cowboys fans thought it couldn't get worse, Overshown, one of the bright lights in a dark season, goes down with a catastrophic knee injury.
Prescott and Ramos announcing they're expecting another baby girl is something worth holding onto in light of Overshown's injury.
