Celtic are locked in their latest quest to achieve success under Brendan Rodgers, but developments are already underway as the club plan beyond this season.
The beginning of pre-season represents the ceremonial return to football after a long summer of yearning to see your team back in action.
During the summer, Celtic fans were treated on the Bhoys’ USA tour, witnessing their side claim victories over DC United, Manchester City and Chelsea before the Scottish Premiership curtain was raised.
Brendan Rodgers can trace a lot of his side’s excellent competitive work back to their exploits in pre-season, where he was able to enjoy plenty of time on the training field, tweaking aspects of his tactical framework.
Now, Celtic fans will be intrigued to hear that some exciting friendly plans are firmly in motion for next summer.
