Despite snubbing Ronaldo in this debate, Diallo chose the Portuguese icon as the best ever dribbler in the Premier League. The 39-year-old Al-Nassr superstar spent six years in Manchester between 2003 and 2009. He then returend for a second spell from the summber of 2021 to November 2022.

Viktor Gyokeres

Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres in recent weeks. Now the Sweden international has revealed that he idolised two former Red Devils stars while growing up, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking about the duo, he told UEFA.com (via Mirror):

"The players I looked up to were Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo. It’s about how they performed on the pitch, they went the extra mile which impressed me. I wanted to do similar things on the pitch."

Ibrahimovic spent two years at Old Trafford, from 2016 to 2018, where he made 53 appearances across competitions, bagging 29 goals and 10 assists. He managed to win the Europa League and the Carabao Cup along with one other trophy during this phase.

Gyokeres, 26, has been brilliant for Sporting this season, netting 25 times in 23 appearances across competitions. He would have to compete with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee for minutes under Ruben Amorim, if he is to join the Red Devils.
