Portuguese boss hoping‘fantastic footballer’Liverpool wants to sign makes big move!

Former Manchester United and Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho ‘hopes’ his former club Real Madrid win the race to sign LIVERPOOL target Nico Williams in the coming transfer windows.

Nico Williams is one of the most exciting wingers in the game right now and a player that most of the big clubs around Europe are very much interested in signing when he makes the decision to leave Athletic Bilbao.

Williams was linked with a move to Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United in the summer window, but after helping Spain to another trophy, he made the decision to stay where he is for at least another season.

However – there is alot of transfer speculation that a move could be made the the upcoming transfer window, and Mourinho ‘hopes’ his former club Real Madrid win the race to sign Nico Williams

‘Nico is wonderful,’ Mourinho said at his pre-match press conference as Fenerbahce prepare to face Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League on Wednesday night.

‘At the last Euros, everyone was talking about Yamal, Yamal, Yamal… who is obviously another fantastic young player.

‘But personally, I prefer Nico; he is a fantastic footballer. One cannot think that a Turkish club could sign him; I hope he ends up at Real Madrid.’

There are not too many players in the game that will have their choices of clubs to join, Williams is one of those stars. If he wants to join a club, he will join them.

He is a quality winger that will bring goals and excitement to any club, so even though we would love to see him in the Premier League over the next few seasons, it is much more likely that he stays in La Lia.

But it would be massive to choose Madrid over Barcelona
