Liverpool sign Manchester City defender
Lucas Clarke, a 16-year-old centre-back, has completed a transfer from Manchester City’s academy to Liverpool’s youth setup.
The young defender announced his move to Liverpool via his personal Instagram account, expressing enthusiasm about his new chapter, writing:
“Delighted to have signed for Liverpool FC can’t wait to get started,”
The transfer represents a rare direct move of a youth prospect between the two rival clubs.
The 2008-born defender typically plays on the left side in a centre-back pairing.
