Liverpool continue to go from strength to strength under Arne Slot as they secured a 1-0 UEFA Champions League win against Girona.
It wasn’t their best performance of the season as the hosts gave a good account of themselves, but the Reds eventually came out with all three points thanks to a second-half penalty from Mohamed Salah.
Slot’s side have now won each of their six games in the UEFA Champions League and have already confirmed their place in the Round of 16 with two games to spare.
And Luis Diaz thinks Liverpool have a player who he absolutely loves playing with at the club.

Diaz started in attack alongside Darwin Nunez and Salah as Liverpool moved the ball around well in the opening exchanges.
However, Girona quickly made their presence felt with a great spell as they threatened to break the deadlock with a series of shots on goal, all of which were comfortably dealt with by Alisson Becker.
After the interval, the Reds finally found the breakthrough as Salah converted from the spot after Diaz was fouled in the penalty area.
The Egyptian scored his second UEFA Champions League goal of the season and stepped up when it mattered most for the club.

Speaking after the game, Diaz hailed Salah’s remarkable consistency over the years, adding that it is a privilege to play alongside the 32-year-old.
“It’s crazy, his numbers are incredible,” said Diaz to TNT Sports Mexico when asked about Salah.
“He is an extraordinary player who motivates you to play well. You learn a lot from him because he plays alongside you, and it’s a privilege.
“I’m very happy for him for what he’s achieving, it is not just today or yesterday, he has been doing this for many years and several seasons.”
