Cooper Rush’s Wife Exposes Disturbing Hate Message She Received After Cowboys-Bengals

There's no denying that NFL fans are some of the most passionate supporters in all of professional sports. These same fans, however, go overboard from time to time.

This was exactly the case for Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush and his wife, Lauryn Rush, after Monday's home loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Apparently, one fan went out of his way to send a disgusting hate message to Rush's wife.

Lauryn Rush exposed the hateful fan by posting a screenshot of their message on Instagram.

"I truly try not to look at messages like this but like what's really sad about this is the fact that he thinks he can say this to someone. How warped are you? Jail," she wrote.

Warning: the message contains disturbing language.

In a subsequent post, Lauryn Rush went on to call out the hater for threatening her family.

"Unless you have been in the league, don't threaten me, my family or my husband. And actually, if you've been in the league still don't threaten him," read a part of the message.

For what it's worth, Rush finished Monday's loss with 16-of-31 completed passes for 183 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The 31-year-old has been filling in for the injured Dak Prescott, who has missed the last five games after suffering a season-ending hamstring injury.

Rush has started five consecutive games since Prescott went down, and Dallas has gone 2-3 during that stretch.

Cooper and Lauryn Rush have been married since 2020 and have two young daughters together.
