Manchester United are preparing to face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

United are currently 12th in the 36-team Europa League league, just one point off the top eight. Ruben Amorim's side need to finish in the top eight if they are to avoid an additional play-off round.

The United boss will speak to the media on Wednesday and give an update on the team news ahead of tomorrow night's game, but for now here's everything we know about the United injury situation after Wednesday's training session.

Jonny Evans

Injury: Unknown

Evans has been missing from United's last four matchday squads with an unspecified injury issue. Amorim confirmed prior to the clash with Forest that the veteran centre-back was "still not training" but he was spotted out on the pitch at Carrington on Wednesday and so could be in contention against Viktoria Plzen.

Possible return date: December 12 (Viktoria Plzen).

Victor Lindelof

Injury: Groin

Lindelof was forced off during Sweden's 2-1 win over Slovakia last month. Lindelof has played no part in any of Amorim's first five games, but the United head coach confirmed before the Forest game that he was back in training and he was seen out on the grass at Carrington on Wednesday.

Possible return date: December 12 (Viktoria Plzen).

Luke Shaw

Injury: Hamstring

After overcoming a muscle injury that forced him to miss the start of the season, Shaw has now suffered a hamstring problem. He shared the news on his Instagram account last week.

"I understand there is going to be people frustrated, angry, disappointed and I understand all of that," he wrote. "There is no one feeling that more than me at this moment in time.

"But what I can promise is I will do everything I can to come back better soon to help this club achieve its ambitions this season. Thank you to everyone for the support. It really doesn't go unnoticed and I really do appreciate it."

Possible return date: Unknown.

Toby Collyer

Injury: Unknown.

Collyer picked up an injury ahead of United's 2-1 win over Brentford on October 19 and has been sidelined since. He trained with the main group on Wednesday and could be in contention tomorrow night.

Possible return date: December 12 (Viktoria Plzen).
