One Chelsea transfer deal is moving quickly ahead of a potential dry loan January transfer window move, according to a report today.
As January approaches, all the noise and rumours will really begin starting up, and as always, Chelsea are going to be involved in a lot of these whispers.

It’s unclear exactly what kind of transfer business that Chelsea will be looking to do, but for sure there are a bunch of players who are going to be frustrated with not playing as much as they want to be playing right now and could then ask for a move away as a result. I don’t think Chelsea will allow too many sales or moves in the January window, but there could certainly be one or two at least.
Midfielder Cesare Casadei is one of those, and he was also linked with a potential move to Lazio earlier this morning. But as well as them, there is another Serie A side eyeing a possible deal for the Italian in January.

Gazzetta dello Sport have now looked at Monza’s chase of the 21-year-old this winter.
The Serie A side want cover in midfield due to an injury crisis and they want to sign Casadei on a dry loan deal by the 2nd of January. The feeling is that their negotiations with Chelsea are ‘moving quickly’ and talks have been ongoing on for several weeks now.
Monza want to sign the player on a six-month loan as soon as they can. Whether that plan actually goes through or not remains to be seen, but there is some progress being made.
