The midfielder messaged the defender on his Instagram story with the words “Some man” after the win, with Robertson responding “My guy.”

Robertson has endured somewhat of a roller-coaster season, with the Scotland star certainly not what he used to be.
But that is simply because of the very high standards the left-back has set for several seasons now, for both club and country.
A run of poor form saw Slot turn to Greek international Kostas Tsimikas at left-back not so long ago, but it seems that Robertson is now the firm number one once more.

The fightback epitomises the defender’s grit and determination, with his Man of the Match award coming not long after he conceded back-to-back penalties against Southampton and Real Madrid.
Slot is likely to continue rotating the left-backs in the coming weeks, but more because of the busy schedule and fatigue as opposed to Robertson dropping his standards.
