Christmas came early for New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers this year, as the controversial 41-year-old signal-caller has got himself a new conspiracy theory to sink his teeth into. Rodgers debuted the conspiracy, which has to do with apparent drones that have been flying over New Jersey, on The Pat McAfee Show earlier this week.

As Aaron Rodgers was discussing the drone sightings that have happened recently in New Jersey and Staten Island, Rodgers and the geniuses over at The Pat McAfee Show speculated that it could be aliens in the drones, which led the four-time NFL MVP down a tangent about wanting to have a “5E experience” with the aliens.

The five “E’s” in the 5-E experience model stand for “Excitement, Entry, Engagement, Exit, Extension.”

“I’m thinking about having a Friday night 5E experience.” Rodgers said. “It’s where you have a big kind of meditation circle and then you call in the aliens and you use little green lasers to bring them in.”

As for the drones, Rodgers says there’s been some “crazy stuff” happening and could barely contain his grin while doing so.

“Do you know what’s been going on in New Jersey lately? And I’m not talking about the football. There’s been some crazy things going on,” Rodgers said as Pat McAfee’s production team cued up a video of the alleged drones. McAfee suggested it was a helicopter while co-host and perpetual floating head AJ Hawk said it was an airplane.

“Here we go. Look at this, cued up. What the hell is that? … That’s large. What is that? … I’ve seen that video. Bedminster, that’s home to [predident elect Donald] Trump’s golf course and our owner, Woody Johnson. So who knows, maybe those guys are…” Rodgers said.

“Cowboys & Aliens is an incredible movie..

It’s one of the ALL TIME greats” 😂😂@AaronRodgers12 #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/CgN0xoZoOB

Through 13 games this season — likely his first and last as the starting quarterback of the New York Jets — Rodgers has completed 63.1% of his passes for 2,966 yards, 20 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Gang Green, who sit joint-bottom 0f the AFC East with a 3-10 record, will play their final four games of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.
