Browns designate DT Mike Hall Jr. for return from Ir

The Browns have opened the practice window for rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr.

Hall is currently on injured reserve and will now be able to practice with the team for the next three weeks before reaching a deadline to be activated. Hall, who has been out since November 16 with a knee injury, can be activated at any point in that window.

Hall was a second-round pick this year and he missed the first five games of the season after being arrested for domestic violence this summer. He was on the Commissioner Exempt list for the first four games and missed one more after the league suspended him for five games overall. Hall had five tackles in four appearances with the team.

The Browns also announced that they have signed tight end Tre’ McKitty to their practice squad.
