Joe Burrow has had a frustrating season in 2024. The Cincinnati Bengals have an extremely low chance of making it into the postseason. Offensively, the team has really prospered, as they're able to put up points and compete. Burrow's main target on the field, Ja'Mmarr Chase, is in pursuit of a triple crown this season.

Enough about all that, though; Burrow got robbed while playing Monday night in Dallas, Texas, and the person who made the 9-1-1 call is not who you expected.

Someone knew the Bengals quarterback would be out of town for a few days and capitalized on the opportunity to see what sort of valuables he had in his Cincinnati area home.

Prior to Tuesday evening, many thought the 9-1-1 caller was Burrow's long-time girlfriend, Olivia Holzmacher. One would think she would be in Dallas watching the Bengals vs. Cowboys game at AT&T Stadium, but it was believed that she was not.

This is the part where more questions than answers have been raised.

According to reports by many different sources, including TMZ, the police said the 9-1-1 call came from Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton.

The model, who has nearly eight million TikTok followers, pulled up to Burrow's residence Monday night and noticed a "shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked."

BREAKING: SI Model Olivia Ponton is the one who called the robbery at Joe Burrow‘s home to the police.

Ponton said when she got to Joe’s home, she noticed a shattered bedroom window and his room ransacked, per TMZ.

Ponton immediately called her mother, Diane, who went ahead and called 9-1-1.

Diane Ponton asked on the 9-1-1 call that "[Olivia] is wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should be going outside." The model could be heard on a separate call saying, "Someone broke into my house ... It's like completely messed up."

It was later stated that Ponton's affiliation with Burrow is that he employs her.

The investigation remains open at the moment, as police are asking around the neighborhood to see if anyone saw anything that could help crack the case.

This is yet another incident this season involving an NFL star's home being broken into. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce's houses were broken into during a Monday night game early this season.

Neither Burrow nor Ponton have been vocal about the incident and how their connection with one another has raised some questions.
