Rumours around Sandro Tonali's future at Newcastle United are starting to gather pace but it all seems to be coming from one side.
Ever since it was reported that Newcastle had signed Sandro Tonali from AC Milan for a £55 million, the view from Italy has always been that the Italy international never wanted the move and that he was unhappy.
Then came the 10-month ban for breaching gambling rules and everything went quiet as he was no longer in the public eye.
Now, Tonali is back in action and a regular in the match day squad for Newcastle so the Italian media have remembered where they left off last year and are back to pedalling the same old nonsense.

Yesterday it was Newcastle who wanted rid of Tonali
Yesterday we covered a report suggesting that PSR would force Newcastle to sell Sandro Tonali with a return to Italy very likely.
While we didn't buy into that, it makes more sense than today's musings from Italy which are suggesting that Sandro Tonali is unhappy at Newcastle.
Tonali has publicly spoken about his love for the club and his determination to pay the club and the fans back for their support during his troubled first year.

Italian media claims Sandro Tonali is unhappy at Newcastle
This time it's Gazzetta dello Sport who are pumping out the nonsense, claiming 'something is broken' at Newcastle and Tonali wants out.
We aren't going to sit here and pretend that everything is rosy at the moment, because it's anything but. From Tonali's point of view he must be wondering what he's got himself into and is likely to be very frustrated that he can't seem to play his way into Eddie Howe's favour.
However, there's a strong feeling that the Italian press are putting two and two together and getting hot air balloon.
