Back in October, it was reported that the Bills were looking for potential investors to buy [minority stakes in the franchise](https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-vince-carter-tracy-mcgrady-jozy-altidore-in-talks-to-buy-minority-stakes-in-bills).
Those minority purchases have now been confirmed, with Buffalo announcing on Wednesday during the league meeting that 10 limited partners have been added to the club’s ownership group.
Former NBA stars Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady are among the 10 partners, as is former USMNT and MLS star Joey Altidore.
Private equity firm, Arctos, is also a part of the group of 10.
“[This has been an incredible journey](https://www.buffalobills.com/news/buffalo-bills-welcome-10-new-limited-partners-to-ownership-group) to add such an impressive and diverse group of limited partners along with a reputable private equity partner in Arctos that has an extensive track record of success with professional sports franchises,” said Bills owner Terry Pegula said in a statement released by the team.
“They all have all achieved high levels of success in their respective industries and we’re grateful for their interest in our team, our sport, and the future of the Buffalo Bills. Most of them have a personal attachment with our team, Western New York or Southern Ontario, which was a very important factor to me.”
Rob Palumbo, Sue McCollum, Thereisa Gouw, Rob Ward, Mike Joo, and Tom Burger make up the rest of Buffalo’s new ownership group.
