Everton could delay the announcement of The Friedkin Group takeover by another week, Ian Croll has suggested.
The Reach journalist shared that the Goodison faithful might have to wait for the official announcement of the takeover after it was revealed that it could happen in the week starting 16 December [Alan Myers].
Croll suggested Christmas Eve as a possible day for the takeover announcement, with Farhad Moshiri days away from relinquishing his control of the Blues.
On the Royal Blue podcast [11 December], he said: “We suggested that it might be even pushed back another week, and there might be an announcement on Christmas Eve.
“I’m not saying that is the case, but you wouldn’t put it past how proceedings go.”
