The New Orleans Pelicans haven’t been able to catch a single break this season.
Willie Green’s team has struggled with more injuries than any other team in the league.
And while there’s still plenty of time to turn things around, the Western Conference is stacked with talent, which might not be favorable for them.
That’s why several of their players have been tangled up in trade rumors lately.
Notably, that includes CJ McCollum.
With that in mind, NBA Central took to X to report that, according to Bovada Sportsbook, the Miami Heat are currently the odds-on favorites to land him.

The Orlando Magic, Toronto Raptors, San Antonio Spurs, and Milwaukee Bucks are also potential destinations.
The 33-year-old has also missed some time with injuries this season, but he’s a proven commodity in this league.
He still has one year left in his contract beyond this season.
While his $33 million salary might be hard to accommodate, multiple contending teams would be wise to at least inquire about the possibility.
The Heat have been in the market for a point guard for years, so this move would make sense.
Terry Rozier has been demoted to the second unit after his shooting struggles.
Neither Tyler Herro nor Jimmy Butler are traditional playmakers, although both can sometimes run the point.
And while McCollum isn’t a classic pass-first facilitator either, he would give this team a strong scoring punch and another shot-creator to help their offense.
