In nearly one and a half seasons as a Chelsea player, Cole Palmer has become a global name in football with his incredible rise.
Chelsea definitely hit the jackpot in the summer of 2023 when they signed Cole Palmer from Manchester City. In 62 Blues appearances, the attacker has scored 36 goals and created 21 assists.
At the age of 22, Palmer may only just be getting started on the levels he can reach.
The English playmaker was at it again last Sunday by scoring twice, both from the penalty spot, during the 4-3 Premier League win away at Tottenham. Interestingly, Chelsea’s Palmer was the highest-rated outfield player in Europe from across the weekend.

Gary Neville has raved about the special talent of Chelsea’s Palmer. In particular, he finds it staggering that the English youngster is this good and technical after a limited time at the top level.

“What he’s gone on to become, no one could’ve ever expected. I certainly didn’t. He’s exceptional. To get that level of precision and class, the final pass and right touch, in someone who’s only really two years in doing this, is amazing.”

From the outside looking in, it’s pretty obvious that the 22-year-old youngster is extremely driven and going right to the very top of the sport.
According to his trainer, Palmer was desperate to start working straight after Euro 2024, which shows the kind of mindset he possesses.
