Former U.S. men's national team striker Jozy Altidore has been confirmed as a Buffalo Bills minority owner.
The Bills announced Altidore as a limited partner in the NFL franchise, along with nine other new investors including former NBA stars Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady.
The new investors were approved on Wednesday at NFL meetings, marking the first time in Bills history that minority owners have been brought on board.
"This has been an incredible journey to add such an impressive and diverse group of limited partners," said Bills owner Terry Pegula.
"They all have all achieved high levels of success in their respective industries and we're grateful for their interest in our team, our sport, and the future of the Buffalo Bills. Most of them have a personal attachment with our team, Western New York or Southern Ontario which was a very important factor to me."
Altidore, Carter and McGrady all starred for teams in nearby Toronto during their pro careers, with Altidore spending seven seasons playing for Toronto FC. Carter and McGrady each broke out as NBA stars while starting their career with the Toronto Raptors.
Altidore, 35, has been without a club since he parted ways with the New England Revolution in June 2023.
With 42 international goals, Altidore is third on the all-time list of top USMNT scorers, only trailing Landon Donovan and Clint Dempsey.
