Jason Kelce Applauds Travis Kelce’s ‘Remarkable’ Off-Field Move

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is well known for his historic production on the field as one of the NFL's greatest tight ends of all time.

But in addition to his elite production on the gridiron, Kelce is also prolific in his charitable acts off the field.

Kelce is the Chiefs' 2024 nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which recognizes an NFL player for his excellence on and off the field.

Kelce is partnered with Kansas City's Operation Breakthrough, an organization that "provides a safe, loving and educational environment for children in poverty and empowers their families through advocacy, emergency aid and education."

On Wednesday morning, Operation Breakthrough shared a list of all Kelce has accomplished with the organization through his partnership.

"It's no secret @tkelce has some impressive football stats... Here are some from his work with Operation Breakthrough over the years," the organization wrote.

Travis' older brother, Jason, took to the comment section to applaud his brother's "remarkable" charitable achievements.

"So proud of my brother for being involved with such a tremendous organization!! Operation Breakthrough is a truly remarkable, one of a kind place, for kids and families in Kansas City!" Jason wrote on X.

"Over the past 12 years, Travis Kelce has grown into one of the most dynamic individuals in all of football, both on and off the field," Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said in a statement last week. "He's a three-time Super Bowl Champion, a nine- time Pro Bowler and one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history. He's also a tremendous leader, a role model for young people in Kansas City and an inspiration to football fans around the world. Through his new Ignition Lab, the growing Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation and his partnership with Operation Breakthrough, Travis has impacted the lives of thousands of young people in the Kansas City region and beyond. Very few athletes in the history of the game have balanced the same level of team success, individual accolades and community engagement. The Chiefs organization and the Kansas City community are proud to have Travis as the club's nominee for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award."
