Plzen vs Man United prediction
Plzen have done well so far in this competition to get in amongst teams like Tottenham, Man United and Olympiacos in the League Phase of the Europa League.
They sit just below Man United, on goal difference, having both played out three draws in a row and then winning their next two games in the competition.
When Man United played their first three it was under the now departed Erik ten Hag, who was unfortunate not to come away with some victories in Europe this year.
They saw a 3-3 draw to Porto away from home despite going 2-0 up inside the first 20 minutes.
Yet despite going down to 3-2 after just 50 minutes, they then had to play the final ten with ten men as Bruno Fernandes was sent off.
Somehow they came away with a point though as Harry Maguire saw his header go in, in stoppage time and spare some blushes.
They did deserve to come away with something that day but were not clinical given they had 29 attempts on goal and only eight on target.
Now under Ruben Amorim things are gradually looking up for them, although they do come into this after two losses in a row in the Premier League to Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
This should be another tough game for United who don't like to make things easy, especially on the road in Europe and won't want to settle for another draw.
Plzen vs Man United betting tips
Man United are prone to conceding in this competition and even when they do come away with a point or three it's been due to scoring a few of their own.
Against Bodo/Glimt they netted quickly inside the first minute, similarly to how they started under Amorim against Ipswich, but then were caught out twice in quick succession going down to 2-1 in a matter of four minutes in the middle of the first half.
Rasmus Hojlund saved the day and they were rewarded a win having put in a dominant display, with plenty of attacks, a huge amount of possession and a better passing display too.
United did really struggle against Arsenal though and never really looked like threatening the Gunners, so it will be interesting to see how they fare against the Czech outfit away from home.
Højlund has netted eight major European goals for United now and another goal here he could join esteemed company in Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford, to become just the third player to net nine such goals for the Red Devils while aged 21 or younger.
There should be yet more goals in this clash and Man United can be unpredictable, which probably doesn't warrant backing them at odds-on to win away but betting on the players instead will pay out more regardless of the result.
One of the key stats from Amorim's time with United is that they can get on the scoresheet nice and early and despite that they've needed goals in both halves to seal the win or draw, so betting on there to be a goal in both halves seems like a huge amount of value even at 4/7.
