Raiders Recently Worked Out 3 Quarterbacks

The Las Vegas Raiders are not in a position to contend for anything at this point in time.

At a record of 2-11, Antonio Pierce and Co. have lost nine consecutive games and might be looking toward the offseason.

Being the rebuilding team they are, it makes sense that they might want to continue working out and signing new players here and there.

According to insider Aaron Wilson, Las Vegas recently worked out quarterbacks Matt Corral, Jake Luton (signed), Kellen Mond, and wide receivers Samson Nacua and Makai Polk.

The Raiders working out three different quarterbacks could certainly be a sign of where they are at as a team.

Ever since the latter days of Derek Carr, this team has been searching for consistency under center.

Over the past few seasons, they have brought in names like Brian Hoyer, Jimmy Garoppolo, Gardner Minshew, Aidan O’Connell, and Jarrett Stidham, but none have truly worked out.

In these last few games of the season, the coaching staff and the front office may want to see if they can find a potential future starter in this crop of players.

If not, they may have to look at the draft.

That is where potential college players such as Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders or Miami’s Cam Ward could come into play early on if Las Vegas is interested.

Time will tell to see if a quarterback like Jake Luton, the one player the Raiders signed, can impact the roster.

If he can’t, and the Raiders don’t like the remaining signal-callers on the roster, they will have to look into the draft.
